Peta has a passion for landscape painting, which goes hand-in-hand with her love of nature, and although interested in concepts of place, her work primarily aims to depict the poetry of and atmosphere of a landscape.  

Peta works in oils and often combines paint with mixed media, using cold wax, dry pigment and other media to create texture in her work.  She describes her work as contemporary impressionism and sometimes semi-abstract.  She is driven by experimentation, whether it is through mark making or exploring a variety of materials.
